Evans Police, New York Marine Rescue Unit

On this picture you can see two different policeboats. The bigger one with snow on deck is a rebuilt military landingcraft with twin V8 14 liter dieselengines. They have turbo and intercooler and deliver 625 hp each to the waterjet. This gives the 15-meter aluminum vessel a speed of 40 knots. Photo submitted by Claes Djurfeldt.
