The Glasgow Police Museum is a free museum operated by the Glasgow Police Heritage Society. Historical displays of uniforms, headgear, equipment, medals etc. illustrating the history of the Glasgow Police 1800 - 1975. The International displays include badges, headgear and uniforms representing every country in the World (Dinsmor International Police Collection).

The Glasgow Police Museum is situated on the east side of central Glasgow (near Glasgow Cross) just a five minutes walk from the major shopping centre voted one of the best in Europe.
Glasgow is the key rail, bus and air link in Scotland, and is serviced by two airports (Glasgow and Prestwick) used by all the national and budget airlines....so no problem getting here !
Budget hotel chains have a number of hotels in the City centre...so no problem staying here!
It's certainly worth the trip...you get to see a beautiful city, shop and even swap police stuff....what else could you wish for?
