John Adolph Miller was born September 15, 1893 in Chicago but moved with his family before his first birthday. Miller was known for his trick shooting. After retiring he took the Sheriff’s posse around the world. They rode at the statehood dedication in Alaska, led the Honolulu parade in the Punchbowl Crater and rode in New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, presidential inaugurations, Rose Bowl parades and many other events. He died March 11, 1982.
