First District Sergeant of Police Presentation badge made of silver and presented to Sergeant Peter McKeever by his American Friends, 1st Disct. Police Department  Philadelphia  August 11, 1858.  The badge features an American Eagle surmounted across two  American Flags with stars engraved on the left and right side.  The six points are hand engraved.

Suisun Chief Marshal.  This badge looked like it had been through the Great Earthquake of San Francisco when I got it.  All the enamel in the lettering had been knocked out and some of the points were bent.  I took it to a jeweler to have it restored as best he could and I think it came out pretty well.  Worth saving because it was made by J. C. Irvine  751 Market St. S. F.  Circa 1900-1906.
